In the context of the Polkadot blockchain, the treasury is a fund that is used to finance the development and maintenance of the network.

The purpose of the treasury system is to allow the community to collectively fund and prioritize the development of the Polkadot network and ecosystem. This helps to ensure that the network is continually improving and evolving, and that the needs and priorities of the community are taken into account.

It is broken down into three primary parts -
