How to second a Democracy Proposal?

Process

Please these steps to endorse a democracy proposal created by a community member -

  1. Use the navigation panel on the extreme left to head over to the Proposals tab for the network you have selected

  2. Click on the second button to show your support for this proposal

3. Select the account you would like to endorse the proposal with.

  • The proposal with the highest amount of support would be selected for voting in the next referedum cycle.

  • The final bonded support is used to differentiate between proposals. This means 3 accounts bonding 20 DOT will be preferred over 10 accounts bonding 1 DOT.

4. You would be required to sign the transaction with your wallet in order to confirm it.

  • The bonded or deposited amount would be returned after the proposal is brought to a vote
